A pleasant audio experience:

Belle & Sebastian - Fold your hands child, you walk like a peasant

Im so gutted I didn't get a ticket for Glastonbury. I have no beliefs of a supernatural or religious nature but feel that I am destined to attend Glastonbury every year. I can't explain in but the desire to go is something that is innate and therefore predestined before my very existence.

I wish people were not intent on damaging their skin via sun exposure. I suppose it is because I have been raised to work towards deffered gratification [i.e work hard, save money and eventually reap the benefits] rather than instant gratification and so it is harder to comprehend the concept of actively seeking red raw skin. Just a thought.

Because of my polite demeanour, people seem to regard me as shy and weak. Perhaps this is a common perception of myself but I assure you that this is not intentional. I'm only being polite when I say 'please' and 'thankyou'. Jennifer Coates would describe me as a typical woman as I am aware of the 'face needs' of others.

Six Feet Under is on tonight, delightful!

Thankyou the fella who sent me a message regarding this very blog. It pleases me immensly to find that I have a reader, woohoo! Spread the word like polysaturated margerine and hopefully we will all be touched with magic, watch out Walt Disney!

Recently I have become quite pensive when thinking of social conventions. Isn't the concept of culture amazing? Think how long it has taken for society to evolve and for establishments such as the film industry or the formalities assotiated with wearing a shirt and tie to be deemed as perfectly normal. How can we justify the act of wrapping a piece of fabric around an item of clothing with a collar as rational and an indication of respectability?! What also amazes me is the fact that the landscape has been completely transformed. I wonder if the ground underneath all of the concrete and tarmac consisted of sand or rock or soil.

Cultural relativity is a concept that provides me with endless curiosity.
